“Mommy, what’s that animal?” (Pointing at a hairy-nosed wombat.)
“I don’t know.”
“What’s that one?” (Pointing at a brush-tailed possum near the wombat.)
“It’s a baby of that other one.”
“But why does the little one have a tail and the big one doesn’t?”
“Because their tails fall off as they grow up.”
